Arkansas baseball picks up another transfer from Big 12 (2024)

The Razorbacks landed their second transfer out of the Big 12 on Wednesday night to help out in the outfield.

Arkansas baseball has picked up its second transfer from the Big 12 out of the transfer portal with outfielder Logan Maxwell from TCU on Wednesday night. The Razorbacksnow have five commits transferring in including Kuhio Aloy, Charles Davalan, Carson Hansen and Maximus Martin.

Maxwell compiled a batting average of .335 during his junior year for the Horned Frogs, with three home runs and 25 RBIs, while putting together an on-base percentage of .447. TheLima (Ohio) native only struck out 23 times through 46 games in 2024 and drew 30 walks while stealing 10 bases on 12 attempts. He registered an OPS of .930 with 12 doubles and two triples.

With the Hogs losing most of their outfielders, Maxwell will fill in at left field while only making one error throughout his three-year tenure at TCU.
